Info on refuse

The most important component of the Refuse Industry within the Lahn-Dill-Kreis is the separate collection. For this purpose, the citizens of the Lahn-Dill-Kreis have any possibility at their disposal: the blue bin for waste paper, the brown bin for organic waste and the yellow bag for light packagings. Collection times are put down in the waste calendar. Moreover, bulky waste will be collected on appointments.

In order to also dispose that waste near one's residence which is not being collected regularly, within the Lahn-Dill-Kreis there are some 1000 waste glass containers, a mobile collection of harmful substances as well as a tight network of collecting places for reusable materials.
