Partners

With regard to the manifold duties related with the collection and disposal of some 235.000 t of household and indstrial refuse per annum, the Refuse Industry Lahn-Dill has been in co-operation with reliable partner enterprises.

SITA Mitte GmbH & Co. KG has been in charge of the collection of residual refuse, organic refuse and waste paper. In the southern part of the Kreis, SITA has engaged Veolia Umweltservice Hessen GmbH & Co. KG that - in addition - have also been responsible for the vehicle collecting harmful substances. Bulky refuse has been collected and transported by Fehr Umwelt-Hessen GmbH & Co. KG. Bottle boxes belong to the range of responsibility of SITA Mitte GmbH & Co. KG that have also been encharged by the Dual System Germany (DSD) with the collection of the yellow bags.

At the plant of the dry stabilate facility Asslar GmbH & Co. KG, residual household refuse and bulky refuse are being processed. For the treatment of organic refuse, e.on Mitte Natur GmbH have been operating three composting facilities. Wehrle Umwelttechnik GmbH care for the purification plant for water seeking through the ground of a disposal site at the headquarters in Asslar. HIM GmH monitor the gallery of the disposal site in Asslar, and the engineering office Roth & Partners has been encharged with acompanying planning and execution tasks regarding the construction of disposal sites.

The Gesellschaft für Wirtschaftsförderung, Ausbildungs- und Beschäftigungsinitiativen (GWAB) is the partner regarding the disposal of old electronic appliances within the Lahn-Dill-Kreis. The town of Wetzlar has installed a refuse industry company of its own with the Stadtreinigung Wetzlar (town cleaning).
