Energy-saving bulbs

While bulbs can be removed without any problem via the residual refuse bin (grey bin), energy-saving bulbs as well as fluorescent tubes have to be taken to collecting points for old electric appliances.

Moreover, it is possible to take compact fluorescent lamps to the Schadstoffmobil (a vehicle serving as a collecting point for harmful substances).

What is new, is that there are collecting points in many towns and villages within the Lahn-Dill-Kreis. In the following town halls resp. citizens' offices they have so far installed collecting boxes for energy-saving bulbs:

  • Asslar
  • Bischoffen
  • Breitscheid
  • Dietzhölztal
  • Dillenburg
  • Driedorf
  • Ehringshausen
  • Eschenburg
  • Hohenahr
  • Lahnau
  • Leun
  • Mittenaar
  • Schöffengrund
  • Siegbach
  • Sinn
  • Solms
  • Waldsolms
