Private composting

In case adequately private composting can be proved, the Lahn-Dill-Kreis offers the opportunity of cancelling the brwon bin. For this purpose, a petition has to be filed for private composting stating that any compostable waste on the property will be personally used properly and without any damage to the environment.

In order to distribute the compost, a garden expanse of a minimum of 25 m² per property inhabitant is required.
