Using

Every year, within the Lahn-Dill-Kreis they collect some 19.000 t of paper, cardboards and cardboard boxes. These quantities of waste paper are directly taken to the raw material centre of SITA Mitte GmbH & Co.KG in Sinn. There, a separation according to paper qualities takes place. The biggest share is represented by graphic papers, that means printed papers like newspapers and magazines, books and catalogues; the rest is wrapping material consisting of cardboard and cardboard boxes.

Paper and cardboard companies use the waste paper for the production of new papers or cardboards, and depending on its usage more or less new paper/wood is being added to it. Paper is a valuable secondary raw material and can be recycled up to six times.
